Amanda Friedman

Amanda Friedman graduated from Lafayette College in 2025 with a BS in Neuroscience. At Lafayette, she completed an honors thesis in Dr Tamara Stawicki’s lab on the mechanisms of cell death and regrowth in auditory cells in zebrafish. Since graduation, she has worked in Dr. Philip Campbell’s lab as a part of ASPE. Here, she has been studying how isoform-specific Neurexin-1 deletions cause divergent brain and behavioral phenotypes in zebrafish. Outside of ASPE, she loves reading, running and collaging!
