Next Steps into Adolescence
The Center for Autism Research will hold a workshop geared toward parents, caregivers, and professionals who support individuals with autism who are 9-15 years of age.
As children approach and enter the teenage years, they must deal with physical growth spurts, mind boggling hormone releases, and ever-changing and challenging social relationships. With the right supports, this can also be a time of opportunity and growth.
There is a nominal charge of $10 for the session, but please reach out if this causes a financial hardship. Parking passes are available to purchase in advance for $5.
Requests for language interpreter or other accommodation services must be submitted three weeks in advance of the workshop.
