A Heartfelt Congratulations to Fulbright Awardee – Chandni Shah
ASPE is delighted to congratulate Chandni Shah, a Clinical Research Coordinator in ASPE’s Brodkin Lab, on being awarded a prestigious Fulbright U.S. Student Program grant.
Chandni holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, with minors in Chemistry and Health Care Management from the University of Pennsylvania. Over the past four years, she has played a pivotal role on the ASPE Study’s recruitment and phenotyping team. Starting as an undergraduate research assistant, Chandni is now a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Brodkin Lab.
This Fulbright research award is an international exchange program and grant that funds up to one year of international experience. Chandni will be conducting research focused on elucidating the barriers to early diagnoses and interventions for autism in South India. This research will help local healthcare providers and public health officials to implement changes which will ultimately increase availability of and accessibility to resources for families to access autism diagnoses and care.
ASPE takes immense pride celebrating this remarkable achievement. Here’s to continued success in all your future endeavors, Chandni!
