Congratulations Neuroscience Undergrads! – Neuroscience Student Research Symposium 2024
Undergraduate Neuroscience majors from many ASPE labs recently presented their phenomenal senior thesis research at the Neuroscience Student Research Symposium.
These students include Lis Zandbergen and Stephanie Hanchak from the Brodkin lab, Dana Karson from the Bucan lab, Yanjia Zhang from the Zhou lab, and Nathan Zhang from the Fuccillo lab.
Pictured above is Lis Zandbergen with their poster titled “Elucidating the Relationship Among ASD Traits, Sleep, and Physical Activity”. Zandbergen is joined by Dr. Edward S. Brodkin (Co-Director of ASPE and Principal Investigator of Brodkin Lab) and Maya Rajan (Brodkin/Bucan Lab Clinical Research Coordinator).
Below is Stephanie Hanchak with her poster titled “Reciprocal Relation Between Social Anxiety and Social Functioning in Autistic Adults”.
Nathan Zhang from the Fuccillo lab (pictured below) presented a podium talk and poster titled “Exploring corticostriatal dynamics associated with auditory driven action impairments in Neurexin1 alpha mutant mice”.
