Emily Colón

Emily Colón is the Administrative and Outreach Coordinator for ASPE. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Certificate in Public Relations, she is currently an M.A. Candidate finishing up her graduate degree in Writing. Emily also teaches first year writing, with strong interests in linguistic justice and inclusive pedagogy. At ASPE, she merges her diverse educational background to formulate multimedia content related to the ASPE Study’s recruitment and external communications, with a strong motivation to create meaningful community supports and initiatives. As an undergraduate, Emily studied pre and post-pandemic mental distress in college students, with a focus on traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression with Dr. Eve Sledjeski.
