Center for Autism Research: Next Steps for Families with a New Diagnosis

This workshop is geared towards parents/caregivers of toddlers through elementary school-aged children who have recently been diagnosed with autism. Topics will include an overview of autism, tips for accessing community supports and resources, common interventions and a parent panel discussion.

Cost: $10 There is a nominal charge for sessions, but please reach out if this causes a financial hardship.

This workshop will be held virtually. A meeting link will be sent out to attendees a few days prior to the workshop.

CAR’s Next Steps Workshops for parents, professionals, and autistic young adults are offered multiple times per year, in person and virtually, with content tailored to key milestones from early childhood through adulthood.
