PermalinkStephen W. Scherer, Ph.D., DSc, FRSC, is a Senior Scientist in the Department of Genetics and Genomic Biology at The Hospital for Sick Children located in Toronto, Canada. He is also Director of the Centre for Applied Genomics (TCAG), Canada’s first human genome centre. He holds the GlaxoSmithKline-Canadian Institutes of Health Research Endowed Chair in Genome Sciences at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and University of Toronto (UofT) and he is Director of the UofT McLaughlin Centre, as well as The Centre for Applied Genomics at SickKids.
